Jeff Coate- LEED AP
President

Trained in multiple facets of both commercial and residential construction, Jeff is a second generation plasterer and has 15 years experience in the industry. His wide range of construction project management experience and vast professional network has advanced Coate & Sons growth into new business sectors. Jeff currently holds a C-35 Lath and Plaster, and B-General Building Contractor License with the California State License Board, is a LEED Accredited Professional, and is a member of the Inland Empire Chapter of the United States Green Building Council.

Cyndee Goodner
Controller

Employed by Coate & Sons since its inception in 2004, Cyndee has 15 years of experience in construction finance, insurance matters, and the legal process. Cyndee’s streamlining of Coate & Sons internal process and procedures has helped facilitate new customer integration in the residential, commercial and public works sectors seamlessly.

Larry Nichols
Senior Estimator

A lather by trade, Larry has been with Coate and Sons since 2004 and brings a wealth of field knowledge to the estimating department. With over 30 years of field experience, Larry has risen through the ranks quickly, from Field Manager to Senior Estimator. In addition to his field experience, Larry is well versed in all forms of estimating, including: traditional blueprint take-offs, field take-offs, on-screen take-offs, RFIs and value engineering for all areas of residential, commercial and public works projects.

Paul Spencer
Field Manager

Also with Coate and Sons since its inception, Paul has been working in the plastering business all his life and has over 22 years experience. Starting as an apprentice, at age 18, he has work his way up the ladder to foreman and to his current position as Field Manager for the Southern California Region. As a second generation plasterer himself, Paul brings a wealth of knowledge to the table in all facets of plastering. While providing invaluable direction and innovation to Coate & Son’s field operations processes, he also serves as a staff trainer for new products and services.

Jose Garza
Field Manager

Jose has over 25 years experience in all facets of lathing and plastering. Joining Coate & Sons in 2004, Jose has been managing projects in the Southern California region since his first day, providing impeccable service and on-time project delivery on a continual basis. Jose’s training includes one-coat systems, three-coat systems, EIFS and specialty acrylic finishes. His ability to act quickly to resolve issues during crucial times makes him a valuable asset to the Coate & Sons team.
